TRIP 2: Winter Wonderland Tour

Comfortable lodge based winter tour. Trip highlights include: a scenic journey on the Alaska Railroad, snowshoeing in Denali, ice sculptures, Chena Hot Springs, northern lights, dog mushing (races and mushing yourself), and cross country skiing.
Explore Alaska in its frosty glory! Winter is a stunningly beautiful time in Alaska and sunny March is the favorite month for snow loving locals. Enjoy the surreal outdoor sculptures of the World Ice Art Championships and watch the Open North American Sprint dog mushing teams race past on the frozen Chena River in downtown Fairbanks. Take the reigns of your own sled dog team and then relax in the invigorating waters of Chena Hot Springs. We will ride the Alaska Railroad to Denali and explore the wilderness by snowshoe. Throughout the trip we will keep our eyes out for the magical northern lights!
